Fenced ranch land approximately 8 miles southwest of Alamosa. Ranch is utilized as livestock pasture, rangeland and wildlife habitat. A geothermal artesian flow well is 2,193 foot in depth with 16” casing and is adjudicated for 1,800 gallons per minute. Subsequent reservoir flow provides wetlands for ducks and geese. The property is dissected by and offers riparian rights to Rock Creek. Additionally, there are two domestic wells on the property. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge joins the west side and is a major regional waterfowl refuge. Joint efforts with U.S. Fish and Wildlife have resulted in an abundance of ducks, geese and waterfowl.
